Normal Day At School.
March Break is over now, so I'm back at school. I get to see all my friends, the ones I want to see. My friends boyfriend dumped her last night, I'm trying to help her. Shes not really upset about it, but she needs somebody and I'm here for her.
I'm in a fight with Kendra, she's suppose to be one of my friends but I don't know. Shes going out with a guy I like that I've liked for now a month, and she's also telling me who to like. But she says I never listen to her when she talks and I always do. I'm always there for her but she thinks that I never am. Me and her boyfriend, Clark are best friends and she said you can't make a best friend in like a week, and I said that me and him have been good friends for awhile, and anyway if two people have a lot in common, of course they can become good friends right?
Tonight I have volleyball, I can't wait. I haven't gone for three weeks. One week, I was sick, the second week, I didn't have a ride at all and the third week, it was March Break. A girl from my team acually ask me if I quit. I said No Way! I would never quit volleyball, I love it!

Jo, I think Kendra is just jealous because your spending a lot of time with her boyfriend, and because your interested in someone she went out with and probably still likes. I know thats unfair, as she's dating someone you really liked. But at that age girls are fickle. Explain to her calmly how you feel, but don't lose your cool. Do you know how many times Jess F and I fought over stuff like that? We always worked it out though, and now we hardly ever even argue (unless it's for a good reason). Friendships are hard sometimes and you have to work at them, throwing them away doesn't solve your problems. Besides, you could lose a good friend. You and Kendra have been friends for a long time now, you may disagree sometimes but you always have tons of fun together! So talk to her and work things out, don't take friendships for granted. "Best friend hopping" isn't cool.
